JAMMU, Nov 8: Puri Motors inaugurated its e-vehicles showroom in Jammu at Main Stop Sainik Colony on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway here today.

The showroom was inaugurated by Transport Commissioner J&K Pardeep Kumar in presence of Proprietor of the showroom Sunil Puri, Managing Director Gourav Puri, General Manager Sales Sunil Sharma and many other prominent persons.
“Puri Motors has introduced E-Rickshaw and e-Cart in Jammu and Kashmir for the first time. The showroom deals in e-Rickshaw, e-Cart and e-Scooty”, said Gourav Puri while talking to the media persons.
“All the vehicles are equipped with digital meter and music system (FM), he said, adding that all high quality India e-rickshaw available with us are having high quality motor and controller, maximum leg space, robust suspension, strong anti-rust chasis and reliable Indian tyres”, Puri informed.
He said that all the vehicles are pollution free and eco friendly, adding that in one time charge, the vehicle runs upto 90 kilometers.
Puri informed that for the first time Government has approved e-Rickshaw and E-Cart in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, adding that both these vehicles will have registration certificate and route permit.
When asked for the similar documents for e-Scooty, Puri said that e-Scooty needs no registration certificate as it is low speed vehicle.
He said that the booking for the vehicles have been started from today and the customers can visit the showroom to have glimpse of these e-vehicles.
