Mumbai, Nov 9: GMM Pfaudler, a leading supplier of engineered equipment and systems for applications in the global chemical and pharmaceutical markets, has appointed Mr Aseem Joshi as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the India business.
Aseem has more than 20 years of rich experience in technology, consulting, strategy, sales, and manufacturing.
He started his career with IBM in the United States (US), setting up a cutting-edge semiconductor fabrication plant and working on bringing innovative new chips to market. As a McKinsey consultant in the US, he worked across industries driving M&A, sales strategies, and operation improvements.
Commenting on the appointment, Tarak Patel, Managing Director, GMM Pfaudler, said, “Aseem is a proven leader who brings a wealth of experience in running businesses in both India and the United States. As the size, scale and complexity of our business has changed significantly over the last year, Aseem will be a welcome addition to the senior management team.?
Aseem holds an MBA from INSEAD in France, an MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech in the United States, and BE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pune in India.
