Dr Jalal shifted to Delhi

Srinagar, July 21: Dr Shiekh Jalal ud Din, a renowned cardiologist of Valley, who was injured on Thursday in a militant attack, was today shifted to New Delhi’s Medanta Hospital.
An air ambulance reached Srinagar’s Airport from New Delhi today, which took Dr Jalal to Medanta. After the condition of Dr Jalal improved, he was shifted to Delhi.
Dr Jalal, a renowned cardiologist and former director of SKIMS was shot along with his two personal security guards by gun men at his ancestral home in Namlabal Pampore.
Dr Jalal’s two guards died in the attack while he was critically wounded. He was rushed to SKIMS where he was being treated.
Immediately after the incident, a team of experts at SKIMS operated upon his brain and abdomen, but he is said to have lost his left eye as a bullet has pierced the eye.
