EPFO conducts “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” for stakeholders

JAMMU, Nov 10: Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) Jammu is servicing the entire area (J&K and Ladakh) from Jammu with regard to settlement of claims.
Considering the large number of grievances and to ensure service delivery at doorsteps, various online initiatives of EPFO such as balance enquiry, filing of online claims including transfer and Covid- 19 advance claims and members’ basic details were explained with hands on demonstration. PF Commissioner Rizwan Uddin, Ajit Mishra, RC-II and Harinder Singh, RC-II attended the visitors personally in the programme.
Vijay Singh Jasrotia, a retired SO from Education Department appeared with request for approval for name Rachna Kumari, whose nick name “Poli Devi” was recorded earlier. The matter was taken in right earnest and PF Commissioner himself recorded on the case to be processed today only. Rachna Kumari’s name has been modified accordingly in records. Number of employers as well employees appeared in “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” Programme. Long pending claims of Sunil Choudhary (for final settlement) and Jawahar Lal (was guided to submit form-13 to merge his multiple PF numbers) were processed during the programme. Jasvinder Singh, Kulbir Singh and Naresh Kumar were not able to avail online services provided by EPFO, the issue was taken up and member was asked to submit Joint Declaration to correct the member’s credentials. Employees of Vardaan Security and Facilities Pvt. Ltd. were facing PF related issues due to non-availability of e-Sign (for a long time), the employer was contacted over telephone a few days ago and proper advice was provided for quick resolution of the issue.
Today representative of M/s Vardan Security updated AADHAR and linked his mobile number to AADHAR. This will facilitate the settlement of some workers of Reasi. Adil Farooq from Atkhar Public School, Bhaderwah appeared for getting user ID and password, so that the establishment can remit PF Contributions regularly. The issue was resolved by Ajit Mishra, RC-II. Sunit Kumar from restaurant Mint Leaf, Talab Tillo appeared for getting user ID and password which was completed in the chamber of RC-I Rizwan Uddin, by his P A, Kanchan, who also activated UAN of Prakash Chand Digra of M/s Metlife India Insurance Co Ltd . Arun Kumar, SSSA was advised to settle P F claims of Satpal and Reeta of M/s Group Case Services.
