J&K reports 177 COVID cases, Ladakh 11; no casualties

LEH, Nov 11: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 177 fresh COVID positive cases while Ladakh recorded 11. No casualties were reported in the two Union Territories.
As many as 141 cases were registered in Kashmir division and 36 in Jammu region.
Among 36 positives in Jammu, 16 were recorded in Reasi district and 13 of them were travelers who reported positive for the virus on their arrival at Katra Railway Station.
Cases from other districts include six in Jammu, four Poonch, three each in Doda and Kathua, two in Ramban and one each in Udhampur and Samba districts.
Rajouri and Kishtwar districts didn’t report any new cases.
Eighteen persons recovered from the virus.
Jammu region now has 1,24,534 Coronavirus cases. Out of them, 1,22,183 have recovered from the virus while there have been 2178 casualties. Active positive cases in the region were 173.
All 11 fresh positive cases in the Union Territory of Ladakh were reported from Leh district.
Ladakh now has 129 active positive cases—126 in Leh and three in Kargil district.
Corona count in Ladakh stood at 21087. Among them, 20749 persons have recovered while there have been 209 casualties including 151 in Leh and 58 in Kargil district.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 141 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 63 from Srinagar, 34 from Baramulla, 17 from Budgam, 2 from Pulwama, 8 from Kupwara, 2 from Anantnag, 9 from Bandipora, 5 from Ganderbal and 1 from Kulgam.
The number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 209,133 including 205,725 recoveries and 2,270 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,311 including 1,138 from Kashmir division.
With 96 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 327,908 which is 98.27 percent of the total cases.
