JAMMU, Nov 12: In continuation to its efforts to provide comfortable and modern structure at the international border, Inspector General, Border Security Force, Jammu Frontier, D K Boora today inaugurated the border infrastructure on the Jammu IB in the area of Kawa Chak and Suchetgarh here along the international border.
He was accompanied by Surjit Singh, DIG Jammu Sector.
This infrastructure has been constructed as per thee scheme of MHA for bringing all Border Out Posts as per the guidelines of composite BOPs.
BSF spokesman said that the infra will enhance the facilities and provide comfort to the troops performing arduous and tough duties on the border.
It has been the endeavour of the Government of India to build and improve the infrastructure on the border, he said.
Speaking on the occasion IG BSF D K Boora said that BSF Jammu is fully committed to providing modern and comfortable infrastructure to its troops on the international border.
“These buildings and structures are constructed within the time frame and will contribute to operational efficiency and comfort of BSF troops deployed on the border,” said the officer.
Surjit Singh, DIG Sector Jammu was instrumental in the completion of these infrastructure in record time with required quality standards as per Government guidelines.
