JAMMU, July 22: High Court has called the record regarding removal of Special Public Prosecutor in the much publicized Chopras murder case.
The removal of Advocate L K Sharma as Special Public Prosecutor by the Law Department vide SRO 324 dated July 10, 2013 was challenged by Puneet Chopra, son of RB Chopra.
After hearing Senior Advocate Sunil Sethi with Advocate Mohsin Nabi Bhat appearing for Puneet Chopra, Justice A M Magrey called the record and issued notice to AAG Gagan Basotra for appearance on July 26, 2013.
