JAMMU, Nov 14: A three days National Painters Camp organized by J&K Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) here concluded today at J&K Tourist Complex in Mansar.
Twelve painters from all over the country participated in the camp valedictory ceremony of which was conducted today.
Sanjeev Rana, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages was chief guest while Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan, Film Director, Kashmir International Film Festival & Actor was the guest of honour while Kewal K. Krishan, president JKCCA and Radhey Shyam and Bimal Magotra, advisors JKCCA were special guests on the occasion.
O.P Sharma, Director JKCCA welcomed the guests and said that aim of organizing the camp was to give a platform to artists.
Sanjeev Rana said that such activities add to the flavour of culture of the country.
Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan, Kewal K Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
The participating artists were Sangita Sharma of Thane; Jayanti Patil of Pune; Amita Sharma and Anjali Prabhakar of Bhopal; Jang S. Verman, Dr. Shahzad Qureshi, O.P Sharma of J&K; Dharminder Sharma, K.S Gill, Nisha of Punjab; Sara Syeda of Gurugram and Dr. Mamta Singh of Dehradun.
