REASI, Nov 15: Police have arrested one more accused in connection with purported attack on Government officials at Kattal Reasi where the later had gone for taking possession of Housing Board land on last Saturday.
With the arrest of Bhawani Singh alias Munna, son of Rattan Singh alias Guddu, resident of Gran Morh Reasi, total 12 persons have been arrested so far in case FIR number 222, registered at Police Station Reasi after some some pelted the stones the Government officials injuring some cops and damaging three vehicles.
According to Police, Bhawani Singh alias Munna is a notorious criminal of the area and was earlier involved in cases of attempt to murder, assault to deter public servants from discharge of duty. Case FIR No 08/2011 U/S 307, 341, 34 RPC, 4, 27 Indian Arms Act & FIR No 198/2017 U/S 353, 147 RPC were registered against the accused in Police Station Reasi and the charges were proved against him during investigations.
