UDHAMPUR, Nov 16: A youth was attacked and seriously injured by a bear at village Panjjar in Panchari area of district Udhampur.
The victim has been identified as Raghu Kumar (18), son of Kapoor Chand of Panjjar in Panchari Tehsil.
According to the reports, the youth was returning home after grazing the domestic animal in a forest area when the bear suddenly attacked him. He was seriously injured in the attack and people took him to District Hospital Udhampur. His condition was stated to be stable.
