UDHAMPUR, Nov 17: Udhampur Police today arrested a narcotic smuggler at Kouwa Naka in Ramnagar and recovered 6.9 grams of contraband substance heroin from his possession.
The accused, identified as Hamid Khan son of Allah Rakha of Shankar Nagar, Udhampur, was intercepted by a Police party, led by SHO Ramnagar Kulbir Singh and SDPO Ramnagar Dr Bhishm Dubey during naka at Kouwa.
In this connection, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Ramnagar and further investigation is underway.
