KATHUA, July 23: The people of Kathua district have donated Rs 2,59,000 towards the relief fund for the Uttarakhnad sufferers.
The cheque of the donated amount was sent by the Deputy Commissioner Kathua Jitendera K Singh to OSD (Officer on Special Duty) to Prime Minister of India.
The amount was deposited by traders, industrialists, social organizations and pubic of district Kathua in J&K Bank Account for the Uttarakhand sufferers.
