Rotary Club donates 20 oxygen concentrators to Health Deptt

RAJOURI, Nov 18: In an impressive function organized today, Rotary Club of Rajouri donated 20 oxygen concentrators to Health Department in the district.
Dr Raghav Langer, Divisional Commissioner Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion. The function was presided over by DDC Rajouri Rajesh Kumar Shavan and Rotary district governor elect Dr Dushyant Choudhary in the presence of K K Langer (charter president, Rotary Club Rajouri) and Rotary district secretary administration 22-23 Ashish Langer.
The distribution ceremony was held in Dak Bangalow Rajouri wherein Dr Raghav Langer offered his full support to community service projects undertaken by the Rotary International. DDC Rajouri asked all the Rotarians to do the bigger sustainable projects in association with the district administration. The oxygen concentrators were handed over to Dr Shamim, CMO Rajouri.
Dr Dushyant Choudhary in his address projected the public image of the Rotary and briefed about the various projects undertaken by Rotary Clubs in the world. He promised a mega Rotary Health camp for Rajouri and proposed the move of establishing Eye Hospital in Rajouri.  K K Langer discussed the ‘Gift of Life’ project of the Club which sponsors poor children for free heart surgery all over India and abroad.
Principal GMC Rajouri Dr Brij Mohan, ADDC Rajouri Pawan Parihar, Additional DC Sachin Dev Singh, Chairman Municipal Council Rajouri Arif Jatt, ACR Rajouri Tahair Mustafa Malik, Counsellor Sanjay Sharma, Chief Education Officer Gulzar Hussain and other prominent citizens were present.
Rotarians who were awarded on the occasion include Vishal Singh, Damini Sharma, Moksha Langer, Sajjad Tariq, Zohra Firdous, Vishal Gupta, Rohini Gupta, Gulshan Ara, Atul Sharma, Ankur Gupta, Haqeeqat Singh, Rattan Kour, Swaraj Ishar, Sumiksha, Sanjeev Gandotra, Shivani Gandotra, Shafait Jatt, Sharda and Sudesh Sharma.
