JAMMU, Nov 23: BJP J&K UT president, Ravinder Raina today said that his party is the best platform to serve the nation and society with selfless efforts and that’s why prominent faces from every field are joining BJP on the regular basis.
Addressing a function at Party Headquarters here, today in which prominent Trade Union leader and social activist, Prem Chand Sharma, Parshottam Lal, senior leader PDP along with many of their supporters joined the BJP, he said that under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, nation has witnessed unprecedented development.
Former Deputy CM, Dr Nirmal Singh and other BJP leaders were also present on the occasion.
Raina added that BJP is of the firm view that the new entrants will give their best efforts for the development in the region without any prejudice, while they will work for the extension of the party activities in the region. He also said that BJP is grateful to the residents of J&K for the love and affection shown to the party.
Dr. Nirmal Singh said that the region has witnessed enormous development under the leadership of Modi Government. He welcomed the new entrants and said that BJP welcomes all with open arms into the family. He exhibited faith in the dedication of the new entrants towards public welfare.
PC Sharma a trade unionist and a social activist who headed various employees organizations including Non Gazetted Electric Employees Union for Jammu Province, Provincial Electric Employees Union and actively participated in trade union struggle with Low paid Employees Federation for the working class said that he will work for the strengthening of BJP in Jammu region in general and Basholi in particular.
He said that it is only BJP and PM, Narendra Modi which have the capacity and capability of making India a Vishaw Guru and assured the party leadership that he will try his level best to come to their as well as expectations of the people.
BJP district president Basohli, Jeevan Lal and district general secretary (Org.) Inderjeet facilitated the joining, while Ajay Pargal, Ajay Vaid, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Gourav Pargal and other leaders of the party were also present on the occasion.
