JAMMU, Nov 23: Various programmes in connection with 155th birth anniversary of She-e-Duggar Lala Hans Raj Mahajan and 132nd birth anniversary of Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan, shall culminate with grand `Mahajan Milan’ on December 26.
This was informed by Romesh Chander Gupta, President of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha, while talking to media persons after a meeting of the Sabha office bearers, wherein decision in this regard was taken.
“In the valedictory programme on December 26, winners of Rangoli and Painting competitions, meritorious students of Mahajan community and those who secured distinction in their profession or secured admission in highly specialized courses on the basis of higher merit during the current year, shall be awarded and honoured,” said Romesh Mahajan.
The Rangoli competition for girls only of all age groups and Painting competition for both boys and girls upto the age of 15 years belonging to Mahajan community, shall be held on December 5 at the Mahajan Sabha. All the participants are required to get themselves registered on or before December 3 at the Mahajan Bhawan Shalaamar.
The meritorious students and professional should also inform the Sabha before December 20. Romesh Gupta informed that all the aspiring candidates would get relevant forms for registration from the Head office of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha, Shalamar Jammu.
The meeting of Mahajan Sabha office bearers was attended by Shiv Partap Gupta, Om Parkash Mahajan ( Kaku Shah), Harinder Gupta, Sanjay Mahajan, Yash Pal Gupta, Surinder Gupta, Dr Mohan All, Atul Gupta, Vikul Gupta, Balbir Gupta, Manu Mahajan, Manish Gupta, Ravi Rohmetra and Sanjay Mahajan.
