JAMMU, July 24: Following complains of copying in Internal tests for MEd course in the Directorate of Distance Education, the Jammu University Vice-Chancellor today constituted an inquiry committee to look into the matter.
The copying in alleged connivance with the Directorate officials dealing with the MEd course, came into light after a surprise raid of the DDE on the complaint of JURSEA president Rakesh Chib. One student was caught red handed along with the copying material while others managed to flee.
After the incident, sources said that the Vice-Chancellor has constituted an inquiry committee to look into the matter. The committee, comprising DAA Prof Neelam Saraf, Controller Examination Prof Keshav Sharma and Prof Kulwant Singh will investigate into the allegations and then submit a detailed report in this regard, sources added.
