Jammu, Nov 24: Councillor Sat Paul Karlupia today started construction work of Ladies Bathroom (Tutiya) at trilokpur area of ward no 32 jammu which will incur an expenditure of Rs 8 lakh.
BJP Exexutive member IT department Lovekesh Gondi and ex-Sarpanch Raj kumar were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Karlupia appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with JMC in various development works undertaken by it with in the ward.
Karlupia also said that about four villages shall be benefitted by this ladies bathroom for during the ritual ceremonies.
He urged upon the residents to avoid single use plastic and polythene in routine works and refrain from throwing debris,garbage and filth in public drains and lanes.
Subash Sharma, Soni Sandesh, Sarfy Ram, Sham Lal, Ramesh Lal Sharma, Sourav Sharma and others were also present on the occasion.
