JAMMU, July 24: The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) today raided the residence of 52 RCC GREF’s Junior Engineer Naresh Kumar, son of Bihari Lal at Purkhoo near Domana and found 70 bags of official cement of Shri Ultra brand in his house, which had been kept for misappropriation.
Reliable sources said the CBI team raided the house of Naresh Kumar, who has been posted at 52 RCC GREF at Manwal after developing information from sources that he had misappropriated the GREF cement and kept it in his house for sale in the private market.
The CBI raid was conducted in presence of independent witnesses, sources said, adding they had also sought presence of Naresh Kumar through OC SK Meena but he didn’t join the search.
The mark of `Not for Resale’ had been printed at the cement bags, they said.
The CBI has initiated further investigations in the case.
