JAMMU, Nov 25: Nagrota Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest from the past 11 years.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shoket and assisted by PSI Manoj Kumar arrested an absconder, who was at large since 2010.
The arrested person was identified as Manzoor Ahmed Ganie, son of Abdul Gani of Karanpur Tehsil Pampur District Anantnag.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 90/2005 under Sections 279 and 337 RPC and 3/181 MV Act with Police Station Nagrota. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
