JAMMU, July 25: Former Chief Secretary and NC MLC Vijay Bakaya advocated for the commitment of National Conference (NC) in the development of infrastructure in every field to help people live a happy and prosperous life.
Bakaya said this during a public meeting of National Conference Minority Cell, organized by the Hazoori Bagh Welfare Committee at Hazoori Bagh, Bohri, here today.
He said that the Omar Abdullah led State Government is committed to provide all kinds of facilities to public with regard to drinking water, power supply and road connectivity etc.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Dharamveer Singh Jamwal, Ex Deputy Mayor, Pinky Bhat, president Women Wing NC minority cell, Manohar Lal, Senior Activist National Conference and Chuni Lal Raina (Kandi), president Hazoori Bagh Welfare Committee.
On the occasion, Hazoori Bagh Welfare Committee while appreciating Bakaya’s role in developmental works in Jammu in general and migrant colonies in particular, presented a charter of demands to the MLC for redressal.
Bakaya agreed to sanction of a transformer to the Hazoori Bagh area, besides assuring the gathering of all help from him with regard to developmental works.
Meanwhile, the Committee appealed the Government for giving Ministry to this dynamic leader.
