JAMMU, July 25: Police today arrested two persons for making obscene remarks on the passing by girls, a police spokesperson said.
Avisheik Kumar alias Bawa son of Bansi Lal was arrested when he was found making obscene remarks near Tara Chowk, Bishnah, to the passer by girls. Another accused identified as Om Parkash son of Krishan Dutt and resident of Village Chack Murrar in Bishnah was also arrested on similar charges from his own village.
The separate FIRs have been registered against the duo in Bishnah Police Station.
Meanwhile, a patrolling party of Police Station Khour arrested a booltlegger identified as Gitan Massi, son of Ahmed Massi and resident of Pargwal and recovered desi liquor from his possession, which was destroyed on the spot. A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Khour and investigations started.
