JAMMU, Nov 28: Jammu Kashmir Teacher Master Association (JKTMA) held monthly meeting under the chairmanship of its UT President Rakesh Singh and General Secretary Vivek Gupta to discuss the burning issues of teachers’ especially circular no-10 of EDU of 2021 Dated 21-9-2021.
While speaking on the occasion, Singh said that there is resentment among teachers community regarding the said circular which debarred prio facto permission to such teachers who are admitted in the course through distance education after 31-12-2020 and urged to Principal Secretary School Education Department to reconsider the cut off date as 21-09-2021 in the circular instead of 31-12-2020 as date of issue of circular is 21-09-2021 and its implementation retrospectively from 31-12-2020 cannot be justified.
Singh also demanded that it should be clarified whether this circular is only for pursuing regular course or also for distance course as there is ambiguity in circular in this regard.
Vivek Gupta welcome the ATD 2021 2nd tentative list of Udhampur which is issued after re-considering all the genuine objections in fair and transparent manner and hoped early issue of the final list including all other left out districts.
Vikram Gupta reiterated long pending demand of DPC of different cadre’s of teaching community specially of Teachers and Masters and urged concerned authorities to fulfil all the vacant posts of lecturers while considering only regular degrees in science stream as per order number 252-HE of Higher Education Department on fast track basis to end the stagnation among different cadres.
