UDHAMPUR, Nov 29: A delegation of PRI Members from block Ghordi met with MoS PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh at his official residence in New Delhi and submitted him a charter of demands, highlighting various local issues.
On behalf of all the Sarpanches and Panches of block Ghordi, Chairperson BDC Ghordi, Arti Sharma discussed various issues which are of paramount importance for all the Panchayats of block Ghordi.
These issues and demands included work on double laning of Udhampur-Ghordi road, deficiency of teaching staff in distinct High and Higher Secondary Schools of the block etc.
According to Arti Sharma, Dr Jitendra Singh assured early redressal of all the feasible issues of all the Panchayats of block Ghordi.
DDC Ghordi Rakesh Chander Sharma, Sarpanch Nalla Ghouran –A, Chander Kant Sharma and Sarpanch Satyalta Yash Paul were also present in the meeting.
