JAMMU, Dec 2: A man was found dead in Ranbir Canal near Toph Sherkhania area, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Surya Ahirwar (75), son of Kalla Ahirwar, a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for autopsy.
Bakshi Nagar Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
