POONCH, Dec 2: A major broke out in a residential house at Rajpura Mandi area of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that residential house of Hanifa Begum and Shah Begum, both widows of Ghulam Mohd Lone, caught fire at Rajpura in which a portion of house was gutted along with cash and many other household items.
Fire Services squad Mandi was informed about the incident but vehicle was not able to reach on the spot due to bad condition of road. Meanwhile, fire was controlled by the locals of the area.
Station House Officer Mandi, when contacted said that one room of the house has been gutted along with 10, 000 cash and many other household items. The cause of fire was not known but police has taken cognizance.
