               AFTER A WHILE
After a while you learn a subtle difference between
holding a hand and chaining a soul.
And you learn that love does not mean leaning
and company does not mean security.
And you begin to learn that kisses are not contracts
and presents are not promises.
And you begin to accept your defeats with your hand
held high and eyes open ,with grace of adults
and not grief of a child ,,
And you learn to build all your roads today
because tomarrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans
After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if gets too much. So, plant your own garden and decorate your own soul ,
instead of waiting for someone to bring your flowers.
And you learn that you really can adore and endure
That you really are strong
and you do have worth…….

     CHILDHOOD
Crawling across the floor
Trapped behind closed doors
Never wanting more
Do you remember childhood
Rolling through the grass
Excited for class
Watching time pass
Do you remember childhood
Pedalling on your bike
The boy you still like
Sad when the bell strikes
Do you remember childhood
When childhood was still there
And your heart wasn’t bare
And people would care
Do you remember childhood?
I can’t remember childhood.

THE GROWING MIND
Human mind is a factory of new ideas
Where experiments do invent replicas
Day and night ideas grow in the brain
Many plus and minus cover its domain
With real ideas, though people are few
Unstinted labor brought something new
Who could ever think of wireless phone?
Trains, planes, computers, going to Moon
A thoughtful brain has become great boon
Impossible proved possible, so much soon
With science let the human mind to grow
Newer inventions would bring so much so

The Voice Of My Soul
The voice of my soul and the words of my heart,
Makes me brave and encourages me a lot.
My mind is filled with the courage to do the best.
I am not afraid if the next is death.
I serve in the desert, amidst the hot sand.
See, I am present in the snowy Himalaya’s land.
I know the real value of my sweat.
I am ready to do my duty unto death.
My arms are strong, just like an iron rod.
“Jay Hind” is the only word on my vocal cord.
My hands don’t tremble when I trigger the fire.
While climbing the mountains, my legs don’t get tire.
I can control my breath and my heart when I run.
It gives me pleasure, for me it is fun.
I don’t look back when I am  moving ahead.
My gun is my wife, with me even in bed.
I don’t lose my temper and I don’t lose my mind.
I can recognize my enemies even if I get blind.
My Officer’s command is the command of God.
Because nothing is impossible, difficult or hard.
I don’t care about the situation I am going through.
It may look strange and odd to you.
I am a soldier born to serve.
A salute from you is what I deserve.
It may look strange and add to you
I am a solider born to serve
A salute from you is what I deserve
