NEW YORK, July 27: Designer Oscar de la Renta threw his support behind fashion bad boy John Galliano on Friday, saying the disgraced designer should be given a second chance after he was fired for his anti-Semitic rants in a Parisian cafe two years ago. De la Renta described Galliano, who lost his job at the French fashion house Christian Dior and has been shunned by many in the fashion world since the events in 2011, as a “very talented man.” (agencies)
