POONCH, Dec, 5: BJP leaders and workers have a strong determination to ensure that the next Government in J&K will be a BJP Government. This was stated by BJP J&K general secretary and former MLC Vibodh Gupta while addressing BJP district Working Committee meeting at Poonch.
Vibodh expressed his full faith that in the coming elections along with other areas of J&K, Rajouri and Poonch will have a major contribution in BJP’s Government formation in J&K. While referring to the problems being faced by the people of border areas, Vibodh said that the border area people specially those from Rajouri and Poonch have a major contribution in maintaining peace and harmony in the region.
Giving details about the priorities of the Modi Government, Vibodh very strongly emphasized that retrieving PoJK is a key task and the Modi Government is determined to take action on this. Vibodh gave a detailed overview of various historic developmental initiatives in Rajouri and Poonch which will go a long way in creating massive employment opportunities for the local youth.
In his address Varinderjit Singh, Prabhari, Poonch called upon all the participants of the meeting to work hard so as to make every booth a strong hold for BJP. He further added that we should specially focus on `Booth Vijay Abhiyan’ and for this booth level workers are the real strength of the party. He said that if the booth is strong, then no one can defeat BJP.
Varinder also emphasized that booths will be strong only when the party will be able to connect people from all sections of the society properly.
In his address BJP district president Mohammad Rafiq Chisti gave a detailed overview of various developmental and peoples welfare schemes of the Modi Government.
The meeting was also addressed by BJP senior leader and former MLC, Pardeep Sharma, who said that BJP is a grassroots level party and its real strength lies with the work and functioning of its local level workers.
While addressing the meeting BJP senior leader and State spokesperson, Sunil Gupta asked everyone to connect local youth with polling booths, this he said will help in channelising their energies for the overall growth and development of the Pir Panjal region.
