JAMMU, Dec 6: Newly elected Board of Directors of J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation Ltd (JKCHCL) held a meeting here today to elect JKCHCL chairman.
Managing Director of JKCHCL, Bharat Bhushan welcomed the newly elected Directors and requested Board members to elect chairman of the Board of Corporation.
Bashir Ahmed Mir, Director proposed the name of Parvez Ahmed Malik as chairman of the Corporation which was seconded by K.P Singh and all the newly elected Directors present in the meeting unanimously supported the proposal resulting which Parvez Ahmed Malik was elected as chairman of the Corporation.
The Board members in the meeting co-opted V.K Magoo and Balkar Singh as Directors.
After assuming the charge of JKCHCL chairman, Parvez Ahmed Malik assured the Board members that he shall devote himself to the up-liftment of the Cooperative Movement in J&K especially in the Housing sector.
He further assured that he will try his level best for the betterment of the Corporation as well as its affiliated societies.
