SAMBA, July 27: A trucker was killed in a road accident at Papad Morh in the district.
As per reports, 55-year-old Surinder Singh, son of Gurdayal Singh of Pathankote was driving a truck bearing registration number JK08A-6974, when he lost control over the steering, resulting the vehicle plunged into gorge near Papad Morh.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted him to district hospital, where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
A case has been registered and investigation started.
