Any sort of notification/advertisement etc in respect of direct recruitment of personnel, prudence demands, must be completed in a reasonably shortest possible time so that element of transparency and propriety get due credence. Any unspecific delay could carry with it attributing motives and creating of doubts. Total number of 7 posts of Assistant Registrar and Assistant Controller of Examination after properly notified for recruitment process by Kashmir University have not been so far filled as the full process for the same remains to be completed. While no reasons for a delay of two years in the process is made known, as many as 2100 candidates having appeared in the tests etc are awaiting the information about the short listed candidates. Reportedly, some ”grievances” of a few candidates about the entire process, perhaps, having caused the delay, now hopefully having been resolved must smoothen the way ahead for selection of the candidates for the said posts. The KU authorities, therefore, need to expedite the exercise. The General Merit List too having been issued, now the things must move ahead for achieving the main purpose of the entire proces
