JAMMU, Dec 11: The 85th meeting of Board of Directors (BOD) of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) was held today under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department (HUDD) Dheeraj Gupta at Civil Secretariat, Jammu.
Administrative Secretary Forest Sanjeev Verma, Administrative Secretary Revenue Department Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr Raghav Langer, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Anshul Garg, Chief Engineer PWD R&B Jammu, Chief Architect, Chief Town Planner and representative of Finance Department participated in the meeting.
At the onset, the Board confirmed the minutes of the 84th BOD of JDA and also the resolutions approved through circulation by the members of BOD this year. Thereafter, proposal with regard to allotment of land to various Government departments viz NCB and JMC was approved by the BOD.
The Board also approved in-principle the policy for allotment of JDA land for Social, Religious, Charitable community purposes to the trusts/private institutions/ NGOs and also a uniform policy for settling all pending plot related cases in the housing colonies developed by Government and agencies in the UT of J&K.
Long pending issues of execution of lease deed with various organizations have also been approved by the Board. The proposal for development of State of Arts Amusement Park at Sidhra and Revised Budget Estimates for FY 2021-22 and Budget Estimates for 2021-22 was also approved by the Board.
