SRINAGAR, July 29: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today met the State Governor N N Vohra here and had a detailed discussion on various issues relating to internal security, governance and the onoing Amarnath yatra.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the chief minister called on Vohra at Raj Bhavan this evening and had a detailed discussion with him over several issues.
In their over one hour long meeting, issues related to internal security, governance, communal harmony, enhancement of internal fiscal resources and the likely hindrances in the path of speedy execution of development and welfare projects were discussed, the spokesman said.
He added the Chief Minister and the Governor also discussed the conduct of the ongoing pilgrimage to the 3,880 metre high holy cave shrine of Amarnath in south Kashmir Himalayas. (PTI)
