JAMMU, Dec15: In a surprising development Jammu University Non Teaching Employees Union today dissolved its body with immediate effect and announced that till the election of new executive committee, the incumbent organizing cum publicity secretary shall take charge from the cashier.
Decisions in this regard were taken by the majority of executive members during general body meeting of the union, which was held today at Brigadier Rajinder Singh auditorium.
Pertinent to mention here that elections of the union were held in February last and tenure of the executive body was to complete in February 2023.
The body was dissolved in protest against alleged dictatorial attitude of the president.
