Two fraud cases solved by Cyber Police

JAMMU, Dec 15: Cyber Police Station Jammu solved two fraud cases.
As per police sources, in a case registered FIR Number 32/2021, a complainant Army jawan namely Sunil Kumar of District Kishtwar lost Rs 1 lakh by scanning bar code of PAYTM.
During the course of investigation, Investigating Officer of the case Inspector Vikram Sharma of Cyber Police Station Jammu conducted raid at Nuh area of Jhirka Police Station in Haryana under the supervision of Priyanka Kumari DySP Cyber Police Station and SP Naresh Singh Incharge Cyber Police Station Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
The accused fled from their houses. The family members were grilled and today as disclosed by complainant, Rs 1 lakh was deposited in his account by the fraudsters.
Meanwhile, a complaint was lodged by Anita Bangotra with Cyber Police Station stating that she lost Rs 3.76 lakh. With timely action by Cyber Police Station Jammu, the amount was sent back to complainant through demand draft by bank.
