LEH, Dec 21: The Leh Congress unit of the Union Territory of Ladakh today lauded AICC vice president and MP, Rahul Gandhi for projecting Ladakh issue in Lok Sabha.
A spokesman of the Unit said that situation in Chagthang area of Ladakh near China border was not good and no body is allowed to move there. They raised issue at the local level but no body was prepared to listen or talk over it.
He extended gratitude to AICC leader Rahul Gandhi who during Zero Hour in Parliament today moved adjournment motion and demanded discussion over the issue including statehood to Ladakh. They alleged that BJP Government was hiding facts and not prepared to share facts in media or hold discussion in the Parliament.
