5 pilgrims hurt as LPG cylinder catches fire

KATRA, Dec 21: Five pilgrims were injured when an LPG cylinder caught fire in a shop at Audkunwari late this evening.
Official sources said that cooking gas cylinder suddenly caught fire at shop No. 4 at Audkunwari along Mata Vaishnodevi track. The injured were rushed to local dispensary and the fire was controlled.
The injured were identified as Vijay Kumar, son of Naseeb Chand, hailing from Jungle Gali in Udhampur; Ankush Singh, son of Raj Singh, Budhi Singh, son of Krishan; Ashok Singh, son of Kashmir Singh and Ankush-II, son of Jagdish Singh, all residents of Ladda in Mongri area of Pancheri. Vijay and Ankush Singh have been referred to CHC Katra. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
