FICCI FLO JKL kick starts health initiative “Amaanat” at SMGS Hospital

JAMMU, Dec 22: FICCI FLO JKL in collaboration with JVG Pharmaceuticals kick started its health initiative “Amaanat” with the administration of Vitamin D3 drops to infants at Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh (SMGS) Hospital, Jammu.
The program started by an address of acknowledgment and the importance of Vitamin D3 drops for infants upto the age of 1 year, by founding chairperson of FICCI FLO JKL Ritu Singh in the auditorium of the Hospital. It was followed by administration of these drops to numerous new born children from the eeriest sections of society. In the quintessential style of Ritu Singh, the first drop started with chanting of the Gayatri Mantra amongst all members present.
Dr G S Saini (Professor and HoD Paediatrics SMGS Hospital), Dr Jyoti Hak (Prof and HoD Obstetrics and Gynaecology), Dr Sanjeev Digra (Prof Paediatrics), Dr Tania Kakkar (Assistant Prof, Obstetrics and Gynaecology), Dr Virender Bhau (Consultant Paediatrics and Panelist Amaanat), members of core team of FICCI FLO JKL viz. Varuna Anand (senior vice chairperson), Ritika Trehan (executive secretary), Dr Palki Sharma, Varsha Bansal, Mona Saraf, Sita Anand, Arti Chaudhary, Neetu Bali, Pooja Kohli, Chandni Kapur, Shristi Nagpal, Payal Saraf and Arti Chowdhary were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Ritu Singh informed that JVG pharmaceuticals generously supported FICCI FLO JKL with the supply of 200 doses of Vitamin D3 per month, which will continue for the year and will be administered to 2,400 children in the year.
The program ended with the honouring all doctors for supporting the noble cause.
