JUOWA organises function

JAMMU, Dec 22: The Jammu University Officers Welfare Association(JUOWA) organised a programme wherein it honoured the retiree officers, A.K. Padha, R.L.Kaith, Subash Gupta, Sudesh Kumari, Sushma Kumari and A.K.Koul.
Family members and relatives of the retiree Officers also graced the occasion.
The retiree officers were presented mementos as a token of love, respect and appreciations for their exemplary contributions during their service tenures.
Speaking on the occasion, the Association members appreciated the work dedication and commitment of the retiree officers towards their duties. These officers according to them were very honest, dedicated and they tried to maintain the norms of highest integrity during their remarkable University service. Their retirement is a great loss to the University but at the same time their indispensable contributions are indeed a motivation and inspiration for the new recruits to follow their foot steps in the interest of the University in particular besides all its stake holders and the civil society at large.
The retiree officers assured the University administration that it shall be an honor for them to keep lending their helping hand to enable University in scaling new heights further. University Authorities wished these officers good health and happiness in the times to come and assured that the doors of the University shall always remain open for them in case of any assistance.
R.L.Kaith, and other retirees also spoke on the occasion and praised the work, conduct and behaviour of the University Officers with their colleagues and public in general.
The function was graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Manoj K Dhar as the chief guest and it was adorned with distinguished presence by Registrar Prof.Arvind Jasrotia, COE Prof. Jasbir Singh and many officers from different Wings of the University.
