JAMMU, Dec 22: A webinar on “Significance of Blockchain Technology in Cyber Security” was conducted by GCET Jammu under the guidance of college Principal Dr Sameru Sharma.
Anupam Tiwari, Joint Director (C&C), Government of India was the key speaker, who during his deliberations laid down emphasis on how blockchain technology can be helpful in near future in promoting eGoverence by protecting data, streamline processes, and reduce fraud, waste and abuse while simultaneously increasing trust, transparency and accountability.
The whole proceedings were carried out under the initiative of Er Niraj Dubey, Nodal Officer, Cyber Jagrukta Abhiyaan, GCET Jammu and his team, who welcomed the audience and gave onset brief about such emerging technology.
The webinar was concluded with the vote of thanks.
