POONCH, Dec 29: In order to ensure smooth traffic movement in and around Poonch town, the employees of the Municipal Council Poonch today removed encroachment by street vendors and the hawkers at Main Bazaar, Poonch.
An official of the Municipal Council Poonch said that the streets of the town were mainly occupied by street vendors and hawkers, causing traffic jams throughout the town and creating inconvenience to the pedestrians. He said that we have performed a massive anti-encroachment drive few months back after which the situation in the main market becomes easy. He warned that nobody would be allowed to display items outside shop premises and people themselves have to avoid this.
