JAMMU, Dec 29: A woman died while two others sustained injuries after an ambulance hit a divider near Meheshpura Chowk, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Kunti Devi, wife of Partap Chand of Arnia District Jammu, while the injured were identified as Bodh Raj, son of Partap Chand and Nitin Kumar, son of Ramesh Kumar, both residents of Arnia District Jammu.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
