NEW DELHI, Aug 3: Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, the country’s leading FMCG firm, today announced an increase of 16.46 per cent in its net profit at Rs 107.08 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 91.94 crores for the same period last year.
Total Income has increased from Rs 800.79 crores for the first quarter of last financial year (2012-13) to Rs 944.59 crores for the quarter under review, registering a jump of 17.95 per cent, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The Group has posted a marginal increase of 1.72 per cent in its net profit at Rs 132.71 crores for the first quarter of current fiscal (2013-14) as compared to Rs 130.46 crores for the corresponding quarter last year, it said.
Total Income has increased from Rs 1,406.77 crores for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 to Rs 1,738.08 crores for the quarter ended June 30, 2013, up by 23.55 per cent, it added. (UNI)
