JAMMU, Jan 3: Educate To Employ initiatives for India’s rural development are of immense significance and contemporary relevance. On the same lines, Indian army has been on the forefront in raising awareness amongst local populace by various initiatives. With a large chunk of India’s population residing in rural villages especially those hugging the border areas are the worst affected due to less exposure of basic amenities and infrastructure.
Today, Manawar Yodha Brigade / Crossed Swords Division organised a counselling session and seminar which was conducted in a joint collaboration with Skill Development Centre ICICI Bank (Jammu Region) for 12 Candidates and their parents from Pangali & Hamirpur villages.
The counselling session was aimed at giving exposure to youth of border areas by Educate To Employ, which focuses at training the local youth for intake into multinational companies, thus bringing concentrated development in the region.
