JAMMU, Jan 4: Nirwan Diwas of 18th century Saint Swami Shiv Ram Jee, the first Mahant of Uma Bhagwati Asthpan Brariangan Umanagri in South Kashmir district Anantnag was performed at Sharda Peet Temple complex Bantalab by Uma Bhagwati Asthapan Trust, Brariangan.
A Mahayajanya was held in connection with Nirwan Diwas of Swami Ji which started at 7PM on January 2 and culminated with Puranahuti on January 3. This was followed by Prasad Vitran to the devotees.
A large numbers of devotes thronged the temple complex to seek the blessings of Swami Jee. The devotees on the occasion prayed for the well being of mankind to save it from the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Elaborate arrangements were made by the Trust in advance for Smooth and successful conduct of Mahayajnya. Special thrust was given on observing the COVID protocol.
Speakers briefed the gathering about the Uma Bhagwati Shrine and about the life of Mahant Swami Shiv Ram Jee.
