JAMMU, Jan 4: J&K BJP spokesperson, Abhijeet Jasrotia has claimed that NC and Congress have deliberately betrayed ST and SC communities.
Addressing a press conference here today Jasrotia said that NC and Congress conspired against ST and SC through a State Autonomy Report 1997.
“This was GAD order no.1164 of 1996 dated 29-11-1996 where point no. 11 was about omitting Article 330 & 332,” he claimed adding that these Articles of the constitution pertains to political reservation of SC & ST communities.
BJP SC Morcha president, Prof. Gharu Ram and ST Morcha president, Haroon Choudhary said they will bring this injustice to the knowledge of both communities.
Gharu Ram said that after this big expose, SC community lost faith in NC and Congress and thanked BJP for the historic day of August 5, 2019.
Haroon Choudhary thanked PM for abrogation of Article 370 under the shield of which NC and Congress were conspiring against his community.
BJP Policy Research Department members, Dr. Makson Tickoo and Jasmeet Kour Pandey were also present on the occasion.
