JAMMU, Jan 4: Gandhi Nagar Police arrested a man for setting his house on fire in Nanak Nagar area. As per police sources, an information was received at Police Station Gandhi Nagar that a man had set his house on fire in Nanak Nagar area.
A fire tender from Gandhi Nagar Fire Station along with fire fighters was also rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
A team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Pankaj Sharma also rushed to the spot and arrested the person, who was identified as Sunil Gupta, son of late Dileep Kumar Gupta, a resident of H No 244, Sector 9 Nanak Nagar District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 08/2021 under Section 436 IPC has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar on the complaint of the family members and investigation initiated.
