JAMMU, Jan 7: A toddler succumbed to her injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here today, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Rajni Devi (2), daughter of Pritam Singh of Baloth District Ramban. She received burn injuries from hot milk on December 23 last year and after initial treatment at District Hospital Ramban was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to her injuries.
After completing legal formalities, her body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Cognizance in this regard has been taken by Ramban Police.
