UDHAMPUR, Jan 8: A number of sheep and goats were killed by leopard in a remote village, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Pancheri, in the wee hours today.
Reports said that 16 sheep and goats were found dead while 27 other are missing and feared killed by the leopard that sneaked into cattle shed of Krishan Singh, son of Parso at Ward number 1, village Chulna in Panchayat Suman. On receiving information in this regard, a Police team was sent to the snow clad area and more details are being ascertained, said SHO Panchari, Pawan Dogra.
The leopard attack has triggered a panic wave in the area.
