JAMMU, Jan 9: Incharge Health Wing Aam Admi Party (AAP), Dr Rajinder Thappa has demanded absorption of NHM employees as regular employees in Health and Medical Education Department of J&K.
Dr Thappa, who was addressing the protesting NHM employees here, today said there services in fighting the COVID pandemic in the Medical College of Jammu and other hospitals of the UT have been remarkable and they deserve to be regularised as per rules instead of extending their services on yearly basis.
Dr Thappa said denying their due right to these hardworking and technical employees is a grave injustice with them which has forced them to take to streets and Government should make no delay in regularizing their services.
Dr Thappa made an appeal to Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha in this regard and urged him that these employees be absorbed on the vacant posts in the medical colleges and other hospitals of the UT.
